Chiang Mai Delight
Enjoy “The Rose of the North” with a leisurely tour visiting a handicraft village, orchid farm, elephant camp and mountain temples. A traditional dinner and folk show caps your stay.

Itinerary

Day 1:
You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2:
Head to the mountains in the morning, and visit Doi Suthep Temple. Then, return to the city and see other religious sites. An afternoon tour takes you to a village handicraft center where you will see artisans weaving silk, carving wood and creating celadon, silver and lacquer-ware items.

Day 3:
Take a drive to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, and watch these magnificent beasts of burden perform stunts, work at their jobs and bathe in the river. On the way back to the hotel, you will stop at an orchid farm. The day ends with a northern Khantok dinner and a traditional folk music and dance show.

Day 4:
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and time to yourself until airport transfer.


Chiang Rai Adventure
Behold the best of Chiang Rai with a drive to the Myanmar border, a stop at an elephant work camp, a visit to a hill tribe village and a long-ail boat ride on a journey to the notorious Golden Triangle

Itinerary
Day 1:

Pick up from any hotel in Chiang Mai town. Depart Chiang Mai by minibus to Fang and Tha Ton via Chiang Dao. Visit an elephant training camp, it's almost like a school. You are shown how the animals are trained from young age onwards and the "students" will demonstrate what they have learned. Afterwards, visit a Meo Village. The Meo are descendants of Mongolian hill tribes. Then continue to Tha Ton where lunch is provided. Afterwards proceed to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 2:
After Breakfast leave Chiang Rai to visit the Yao and Akha Villages. The Akha originate from Tibet and have recently entered into Thailand, the first immigrants arrived in 1911. The Yao hill tribes originate from Southern China. They are the only hill tribe having a written language, and a written religion, based on medieval Chinese Taoism. Then drive to Mae Sai, the northern most point of Thailand on the Thai - Burmese Border. Lunch. Drive through the enchanting countryside to the "Golden Triangle", the famous area where Laos, Myanmar [Burma] and Thailand meet. Continue to Chiang Saen, the ancient City to visit Wat Chedi Luang. Return to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 3:
After breakfast, take a long-tail-boat cruise along the Mae Kok River to visit the White Karen Village, originally from southwest China or Tibet. Return to Chiang Rai by boat for lunch. Afterwards by Minibus back to Chiang Mai. Tour ends at a Chiang Mai town hotel or at the airport.

Bangkok Stopover
Bangkok is energetic and on-the-go 24-hours-a-day, but the ancient heart and quiet spirit of Thailand is evident in the warmth of the people, its Buddhist traditions and resplendent temples. Visit the glittering Grand Palace and much-revered Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
