Victoria, City of Gardens
Discover the charm of historic Victoria. Located at the southern tip of Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada, Victoria is a popular tourist destination known for its old-world charm. With a strong British influence, this city has roots with the Hudson’s Bay Company, the dominant fur-trading company in the 1800s, who constructed Fort Victoria in 1843. Store windows still display British imports and afternoon tea can still be enjoyed at the grand Fairmont Empress Hotel.

The internationally known “City of Garden” has the mildest climate in Canada allowing its gardens to bloom year-round. Victoria is friendly and clean with restored historic buildings and miles of green lawns and parks. The beautiful inner harbour offers a chance to take a stroll past street performers and artisans selling their wares, and is a gateway to the wonders of the Pacific Ocean and the southern Gulf Islands. The nearby waters are the summer home of Orca Whales and teem with a multitude of marine life year-round.

Banff

Surrounded by the spectacular jagged peaks of the Canadian Rockies, Banff is an idyllic mountain resort offering adventure for all. Let Gray Line West be your guide, as we show you the mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers and resorts that make Banff National Park stand out as an international renowned icon of natural beauty.

The magnificent Alberta Rockies cannot be imagined – they must be visited. Visit the area a thousand times and it will be as spectacular as the first time. Take a Banff sightseeing tour around the town and its beautiful surroundings. Among the highlights are visits to the hoodoos – shaped by centuries of wind, Surprise Corner, Tunnel Mountain Drive which overlooks the splendor of the Bow River Valley, and the Cave and Basin where Banff’s history began.

Cariboo Chilcotin Coast

The thousands of lakes, rivers and a magnificent stretch of Pacific Ocean coastline make the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast an über region for fishing, boating, camping, swimming and kayaking. No trip to the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast would be complete without paddling the legendary Bowron Lake Provincial Park Canoe Circuit.

On dry land, there are endless gently winding trails and strenuous backcountry routes to walk, hike, ride and canter. You won't want to miss the volcanic mountains of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, nor the ancient hoodoos and shifting sand dune of Farwell Canyon.

You can also drive the original Cariboo Waggon Road on the historic Gold Rush Trail. Lodge at a local guest ranch and visit a cowboy museum. The region is also famous for its rodeos and stampedes.
